    Samandar is a professional musician playing two Persian classical instruments: Tar (string instrument) and Daf (hand drum). He has been playing music from a young age and trained with master musicians in Iran such as Behrouz Hemmati and Keyvan Saket. He moved to the United States in 2012 and performs regularly in San Francisco Bay Area and throughout the country.

    Sina is known for his innovative style and improvisational mastery on the ancient Persian classical drums: Tombak (wooden drum) and Daf. He studied with prominent Persian master percussionists such as Bijan Kamkar, Masoud Habibi and Navid Afghah. Sina has performed in renowned music ensembles in Iran. He has been teaching music for number of years and currently performs in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout the United States.
